The best free apps for editing photos, in my opinion, are Lightroom, Snapseed & Retouch.

Lightroom is akin to Photoshop; the big difference between the two is Lightroom is more straight forward and easy to use.

Lightroom is a professional platform and used by professional photographers alike. It is free to use unless you decide to get the upgraded features. The upgraded features include the “selection tool.” The selection tool lets you edit selected areas of the photo for example; you want to enhance only the colors of the mountains and not the other aspects of the picture the “selection tool” gives you that capability.

However, Snapseed gives you the “selection tool” for brightening faces and parts of images for Free!

The upgraded features of Lightroom also include all photos being available on all your devices. I have recently upgraded, but those features are not necessary because Lightroom’s Free Features provide everything you need to create beautiful, professionally edited photos.

Snapseed and Lightroom are Hands-Down The Best Free apps for editing photos.

The next app that is super dope is Retouch. Retouch is a one-time payment of $1.99, but if you wait ’til the end of this video, you will see that it is worth every penny.
With Retouch, you can remove an entire person, without a trace, from your photo, and in this case entire light poles.

Here is a short video tutorial of how I use both apps:
